This DAZZLE cotton-linen is a well-considered choice for curtain fabric. Linen is a natural temperature regulator that keeps rooms cooler in summer and warmer in winter. Cotton softens the drape and hand feel, and the blend includes a nylon component for structural resilience, helping the fabric hold its pleat and resist the slow fatigue that makes cheaper curtains look tired within a year.

Made to measure in England

Every pair is cut and sewn to your exact dimensions by Premierchoice in Cambridgeshire, a British workroom making made-to-measure curtains since the 1970s. Pattern-matching is done by hand, pleats are stitched with precision, and the cotton lining is set in to ensure clean fall and long-term structure.

Lining

Your lining choice determines how the curtain performs in the room. Premium ivory lining gives soft, diffused natural light, well-suited to living rooms and reception spaces. The blackout option eliminates light and adds insulation, making it a strong choice for bedrooms or any space where thermal performance matters. Both options protect the face fabric from UV degradation over time.

Care

This House of Hackney fabric is dry-clean only — the dyes, weave, and construction are worth protecting, and with proper care these curtains will hold their colour and structure for decades. Made in England. Every metre sold funds the purchase and protection of 35 square metres of forest through the World Land Trust.

Madison D. ★★★★★

The linen-cotton blend really does keep the afternoon heat at bay, and the drape has a soft, natural flow that makes the room feel more relaxed. Exactly what I was hoping for.

Hazel ★★★☆☆

They look nice enough and the fabric feels decent, but I wish the description mentioned that you need at least two panels for a standard window—I ordered one and it’s way too narrow. The cotton-linen blend does make the room feel a bit cooler, though.
